Christie and Bloor "a series of boxes"

Christopher Hume, The Toronto Star's architecture columnist, recently had some intriguing things to say about Bloor Street and, in particular, Bloor and Christie.
"For all the appeal of the neighbourhood, it has suffered a certain amount of damage over the decades inflicted by indifferent architects and their city-blind clients. The corner of Bloor and Christie, for instance, presents a series of boxes, each duller and plainer than the next."
