Sometimes, for a little treat, DH and I will pack up the kids and head to Niagara Falls for a day or two.I know that most people go in the summer, but DS and I are not "crowds" people. (Case in point: what other 10-year-old boy would say "no" to Wonderland because "the line ups are too long"?)
So, we usually "do" Niagara in the winter.
And, guess what? The falls are just as amazing then, too!
Also, the ticky, tacky strip is less bustling and somehow seems less, well, tacky!
But you can't go out on the Maid of the Mist and some other attractions. Trade off!
