Just spied a wee flyer on the Palmerston bulletin board for Addicted To Sports Inc. It's an 8-week afterschool program to teach children basic sports skills. There's three sessions: Fall (starting Nov. 9); Winter (starting Feb. 1) and Spring (starting April 25th). All take place on Fridays in the Palmerston school gym (734 Palmerston Ave.) from 4 to 6 pm. Cost is $120/session. Age ranges aren't mentioned.
One of the teachers is Palmerston's long-time, much-loved gym teacher "Mr. F.," also known as Mr. Facchinelli. For more info, call 416.456.1195 or 416.277.6016, or email addictedtosports@rogers.com.
