Well, somehow the May long weekend has arrived. Don't know about you, but my thoughts always turn to gardening and getting some lovely annuals in to the ground to fill up my barren garden spaces.Another Victoria Day weekend tradition -- one that's 15 years old -- is the Grassroots Albany plant sale. It takes place Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm at 211 Albany Avenue, north of Wells and south of Dupont.
The flyer promises Native plants, popular and rare perennials, container plants and "a few surprises."
Get out your wallets and dust off those spades...
