HERE'S AN UPDATE FROM OLIVIA CHOW'S ASSISTANT, IN CASE YOU DON'T SEE THE COMMENTS:
"Olivia's film night on May 22 has sold out. We organized a second night on May 20 at the JCC to accomodate the demand but that night sold out yesterday." Wow!
Our MP for Trinity-Spadina, Olivia Chow, is hosting a free screening of Michael Moore's documentary Sicko on May 22. The flyer reads "let our nurses know how much we appreciate them and get involved in the campaign to fix Canada's doctor and nurse shortage."
There'll be a discussion of the future of health care and how to shorten wait times, expand homecare and provide affordable medication.
Things get underway at 7 pm at the John Spotton Theatre in the National Film Board building, 150 John Street, 2d floor.
To get your free tickets, call 416.533.2710 or send an email to chowo@parl.gc.ca.
Cheers,
Vanessa

Hi Vanessa and Ginny:
Thanks so much for the posting. Olivia's film night on May 22 has sold out. We organized a second night on May 20 at the JCC to accomodate the demand but that night sold out yesterday.
Keep up the good work!
