If you are looking for the heat on these damp, chilly January days, I would suggest the highly addictive exercise known as "spinning". If running, also another great endorphine, quick heat-generating activity, isn't your thing for whatever reason, then try spinning. Our local JCC at Spadina and Bloor has regular spin classes which are great. I have been enjoying a new spin studio on Bathurst about a km north of Dupont called SPYNGA. They offer classes which combine a short spin, 25min, with yoga stretches after for another 25min. I highly recommend this studio which has some serious happy energy at all times. Another spin studio which I have never been to, but have heard great reviews from friends is Quadspin on King between Bathurst and Spadina.
