Ice Walking And Break Ins

DH and I have been going for brisk walks lately and the icy conditions were putting a damper on our outings.
So we picked up some YakTrax at MEC. They work SO well! DH even picked up a cheaper knock off verion (YakTrax are about $30), but they were virtually useless. BONUS: they go on and come off in a flash.
So if you're leery on the icy roads, or if you have an elderly person in your life whose housebound when it's icy, I highly recommend picking up a pair.

And now for something completely different... Ginny bumped into a police officer this a.m. who told her that there were five attempted break ins and one car theft between Howland & Vermont yesterday.
So, keep your eyes peeled! And if you saw anything suspicious, call 14 Division at 416-808-1400, or email them.
Cheers,
Vanessa
