Sibelius Square Skating Rink

The rink at Sibelius is being flooded by volunteers this weekend. If you are interested in helping out with this, let me know.
Also, hopefully, we will have the rink with us long enough to throw a neighbourhood skating party, as we did last year.
If you would like to help organize it, give me a shout.

Play In Sibelius Square On Wednesdays

Awhile ago a neighbourhood Mom, inspired by Silken Laumann's Child's Play, designated Wednesdays as a day for kids to play after school from 4 pm to 5 pm in Sibelius Square park.
Nothing requiring a commitment -- and, consequently, stress if you don't go -- nothing that costs money, nothing with a lot of rules or that is over-organized. Just play.
The parents and children will continue to meet in winter (after all, what's more fun than playing in snow?) and until the end of the school year. Anyone who'd like to join them is most welcome.
Cheers,
Vanessa
