If you have curly hair, getting a proper cut sometimes can be a nightmare. Thought you should know that we have one of the best curly cut salons in the city at our doorstep: The Curl Ambassadors on Harbord, just east of Bathurst. DS and I go there now and they really know their stuff! Plus they carry hard-to-find hair care products specifically designed for curly hair. Throw out your hair brush and go visit them! And it's not as expensive as you might think...

A little birdie tells us that the newish Cure Salon at Christie and Dupont is smashing AND they use eco-friendly Aveda products. You can get everything from a haircut (that comes with a scalp massage!), to laser hair removal, to a facial, to a massage.

Now here's an interesting one... my Mom got a reasonably priced hair cut the other day at Anes Hair & Spa at 590 Bloor Street West. Lovely service, too. The owner lives in the building, so she's a neighbour, as well.
