Last week I was walking past Varsity Centre (no longer just a stadium!) about four times a day and saw the lads in blue practising football.DS is a fan of the ole pigskin, so I may take him to a Varsity Blues game or two. It's within walking/biking distance, tickets are $10 and $5 and the stands are close enough to the action to actually feel like you're at a game, unlike some bigger venues where I always feel that I watched the whole thing on TV.
The season kicks off September 1.
