Happy Canada Day!Wisely, the city hosts Environment Days in different communities throughout the summer. Ours will be this Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm at Central Tech (Harbord and Borden entrance.)
Have surplus art supplies, children's book, CDs and cases? Drop them off and they'll be sent to ArtsJunktion, a storehouse for art supplies set up by the Toronto District School Board.
Saturday's also the time to drop off old paint tins, plastic shopping bags, inkjet and laser printer cartridges and much, much more. You'll find a complete list by clicking on the link above.
As well, if your green bin has disappeared, or you need a backyard composter or a rain barrel, this is the place to buy them.
