Eye Candy Friday

Every year two magnificent stands of these bushes bloom in my backyard.
And though I've lived here almost a decade, I must confess that I have no idea what they are!
Does anyone know? (I thought they were linden trees, but when I look on the 'net, they don't look like lindens at all.)
I DO know that they drop the most lovely, pearl-white petals all over my back patio, where I often eat dinner.
It's a picturesque addition to mealtimes-- as long as you don't eat any of them, of course!
