Speaking of patios...

My favourite patio in the neighbourhood is L'Esspresso on the south side of Bloor Street to the east of St. George Street. This restaurant along with nearby Bar Mercurio are owned by an Annex family, the Mercurios. So, while you're enjoying the patio and tasting the homemade Sicilian sugar doughnuts (available only on the weekend), you are also supporting local business owners.
