What Does The Annex Need?

This rolled into my inbox recently:

"My name is Simon Lewchuk. I'm a graduate student currently conducting a study on behalf of Walmer Rd. Baptist Church (188 Lowther Ave). The aim of the study is to complete a "community needs" assessment of the Annex neighbourhood, as well as identifying some of the assets that may exist to go about meeting those needs."

I had pleasant chat and a coffee with Simon this week. He'd like to get as much input as possible for his study, of course, and he'd love to hear from more Annex residents, so feel free to drop him an email at simon.lewchuk@gmail.com.
I realize that "needs" is a broad query... during our conversation, Simon defined it as anything that you find lacking in the Annex. It could range from suitable park space to a lack of resources for seniors, such as social groups.
As for resources, any groups, institutions or communication networks, among other things, would fall into that category.
Cheers,
Vanessa

I was just thinking today that I wished I could recycle my plastic bags at Loblaws. Dominion used to take them -- do they still, I wonder?
