We quite enjoyed the storm last night, so it was with sadness that I heard this morning that a 28-year-old man taking shelter under a tree in Christie Pits was killed by a lightning strike.
How tragic.

This man was my friend. We knew each other from the age of five. He was a great man. A good life cut way too short. Pray for him and his family.
