Well, I BLOGged about my bike being stolen awhile ago. Now friends who lives on Manning told DH that their house was broken into recently.
Theirs was the only house in their strip of the block without exterior lights on one evening and the thieves got in through an upper story window off a back deck.
After hearing their story, I'm going to make sure that my motion-sensor lights always have working bulbs and to lock all my windows and doors, even the ones on the third storey.
(BTW, my bike is now locked in my backyard shed every night, safe and sound... hopefully.)
