If you've found your bike, right where you left it last October, pumped up your tires and now you're looking for some action; look no further, the Toronto Bicycling Network kicks off their spring season on May 10th and they have loads of great rides planned for the year including some overnights, a trip to Niagara and the ever-fun Becel Ride for Heart which happens on June 1st this year. It allows bikes and rollerblades free reign of the DVP and parts of the Gardiner Expressway. Though there are no cars, I cannot stress enough, WEAR YOUR HELMETS! My son bounced his way off his bike along the Gardiner last year, cracked his helmet open and lost a tooth, but lives to ride again this year thanks to his helmet.
