Organics On Bloor, Karma Co-op

Organics on Bloor, just east of Albany Avenue, will celebrate its fourth anniversary this year, but it is offering something new: delivery. And not just in our area, either! So spread the word and if you're just too busy to get down to Bloor to shop, bear in mind that you can order online and have a basket of food delivered to your door for a $5 delivery fee.
What's not to like?

Also, it occurs to me that, because of its tucked-away location, some area residents may not know about Karma Food Co-op. Accessible from a laneway on Barton, just east of Palmerston Avenue (or from Palmerston Avenue), Karma has been around for a long, long time (since 1972, to be exact.)

It is just what its name suggests: "a non-profit, member-owned and operated co-operative food store that emphasizes organic and local foods and environmentally friendly household products."
You have to be a member to shop at Karma, but you can do a trial shop to discover whether it's right for you.

Cheers,
Vanessa
