TO Community Centres; Income testing and User fees

City council is considering implementing and increasing user fees at recreation centres. Our councillor, Adam Vaughan, has some concerns about the new policy, which will involve income testing (or proving your income) and the "elimination of the 21 priority centres in high needs neighbourhoods (i.e. Scadding Court, Regent Park, South Parkdale, Rexdale, Flemingdon, Jane and Finch, etc). These priority centres currently provide free programming without any documentation of income required."
