Have you strolled through Mirvish Village lately? Gotta love the streetscape and the funky stores! There's a newish art centre there, too, that sent the following:
Burrow Art Centre
We are a children's art studio focusing on ages 4 - 14, but we also do adult workshops.
We also have a gallery and shop showcasing local artisans. Our blog can keep you up to date on all the cool things happening here at The Burrow.
We have a card-making workshop this Saturday and on Sunday we are having a Hootenanny, live music and free crafts for parents and kids.
It's going to be great fun! Maybe we'll see you there.

Lastly, this is the opening weekend for the city's Cavalcade of Lights and we quote:
"The 41st annual Cavalcade of Lights sets Toronto aglow with a month-long calendar of spectacular fireworks and concerts every Saturday night and at nineteen of Toronto's unique neighbourhoods and tourist attractions where brilliant energy-efficient LED lighting installations will help beautify the city throughout the holiday season."

FREE!
The First Lighting Celebration is a glittering evening of entertainment for the whole family. This year, under the direction of Canadian designer Brian Gluckstein, the theme of Nathan Phillips Square's Lighting Display is "Enchanted Holiday", an environment of festivity celebrating peace and goodwill for all cultures. See the premiere illumination of the Cavalcade of Lights display culminating in the lighting of Toronto's official giant Christmas Tree and a spectacular pyrotechnic finale.
Highlights include live performances by Jully Black, Kim Stockwood, Murray McLauchlan, Louise Pitre, Sarah Slean and Nikki Yanofsky and the Imani Gospel Singers.
